How to Flip Your Mindset to Positive

A couple Januarys ago, I made a resolution, and it’s made a huge difference in my life.

I noticed that sometimes I tend to focus on what’s still missing, or what isn’t happening yet, instead of noticing the good things that are happening.

So I decided that from now on, I will “notice the good”.

Then I decided to bring that down to a practical level.

I track my time every day, so I put a post it note on my time tracking notebook that says, “Write down one good thing at the end of each day.”

Sometimes I have a couple things written down before noon.

And every once in a while, I really have to think at the end of the day to write down one good thing.

But there’s always something. And it changes my whole perspective on the day.

So write down one good thing that happened today for you, and watch how it changes your perspective.
